About LendShelf

LendShelf is a free tool that helps communities share things instead of buying duplicates. Whether it's power tools sitting in a garage, baby gear that kids outgrew, or camping equipment used twice a year — most of us own things that spend more time in storage than in use.

How it works

An organizer creates a “shelf” — a simple page where community members can list items they're willing to lend. Anyone can browse the shelf, and when they find something they need, they send a borrow request. The lender gets an email and can approve or decline with one click.
