LendShelf is a free tool that helps communities coordinate item lending. By using the service, you agree to these terms.

What LendShelf does

We provide a platform for communities to list items available for lending and coordinate borrow requests. We facilitate the connection between lenders and borrowers — we are not a party to any lending arrangement.

What LendShelf does not do

• We do not verify the identity of users
• We do not provide insurance or liability coverage for lent items
• We do not mediate disputes between lenders and borrowers
• We do not guarantee the condition or availability of listed items

Your responsibilities

• Provide accurate information about yourself and your items
• Only lend items you have the right to lend
• Treat borrowed items with care and return them as agreed
• Don't use the platform for illegal purposes
• Don't post inappropriate, offensive, or misleading content

Content moderation

Shelf organizers can remove items from their shelves. We reserve the right to remove content that violates these terms or is reported as inappropriate.

Limitation of liability

LendShelf is provided “as is” without warranties. We are not liable for any damages arising from the use of the service, including but not limited to damaged, lost, or stolen items. Lending arrangements are between community members.

Changes to terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
